Simone is a Washington D.C. artist with a distinctive perspective on American life and politics combined with a laid-back, friendly delivery. Simone evokes an animated, clever, and funny act. His eye for the absurdities of cultural politics and his unique writing and performance style wows audiences. Audience members have called him "hilarious" and "hysterically funny", while bookers have labeled Simone "brilliant" and a "rising star".

He has performed stand-up comedy on the main stages of the D.C. Improv and Arlington Drafthouse for nationally touring headliners such as Pete Davidson, Iliza Shlesinger, Tommy Davidson, Amir K., Bob Marley, Cristela Alonzo, and Fortune Feimster.

He has also performed at Los Angeles, California’s Comedy Store as well as Comic Strip Live at Laughing Buddha’s Village Lantern in New York, NY, The Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), The Howard Theatre (Washington, DC)

Simone has performed and hosted at the Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), The Howard Theatre (Washington, D.C., the D.C. Improv (Washington, DC), Comedy Store (Los Angeles, CA), Comic Strip Live (New York, NY), the 202 Comedy Festival, Arlington Drafthouse (Arlington, VA), State Theatre (Falls Church, VA), and in the Washington D.C. arts community with Story League, La Ti Do, as well as District Comedy’s fundraising events.

He recently released his comedy album 'Delightfully Ethnic' and it is available on all streaming platforms!

Al Williams was born and raised in Cleveland, OH where he began performing stand up on a dare, at a comedy competition while in college (where he was disqualified for fan interference). After living in Cleveland, New Orleans, New York and Washington DC, Al uses his crazy, funny life experiences to keep audiences laughing.

Al performs at clubs and venues across the East Coast and has been selected to perform at festivals across the country including the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, Motor City Comedy Festival, Whiskey Bear Comedy Festival, Harlem Comedy Festival, and Burbank Comedy Festival (Best of Fest).
